Realtors and their clients can still travel for business purposes, like viewing a home, but should be prepared for possible road checks and continue to follow public health orders and safety guidelines, according to the BC Real Estate Association.
“BC’s recent restrictions on travel don’t impact REALTORS and their clients travelling for business purposes. Real estate trading services continue to fall under the category of essential services, which means that it’s still permissible for Realtors and consumers to travel if it is related to a real estate transaction, like viewing a property” says Mackenzie Smith, Communications Assistant for the BC Real Estate Association, in her April 23, 2021 blog post.
